Only the Yanks could do it: build the Grand Canal in the middle of the desert. No trip to Venice is complete without a graceful and romantic glide down the Grand Canal in a gondola. For those who can't make it to Venice, or can't afford the stupendous prices required by the Venetian Gondolier Monopoly, here you can float beneath bridges, beside cafes, under balconies and through the Venetian streetscape as your singing gondolier sweeps you along. Much more affordable than the real thing:
Indoor or Outdoor rides:
Adults - $16.00 (Gondola Seats Four)
Private two-passenger gondola - $64.00
Note that reservations must be made in person, same day only. Ticket sales open daily at 9 a.m. for the indoor ride and 10 a.m. for the outdoor ride.
