  • I've been picking up tortillas here for a couple years now, but this is the first time I got to try the food. The storefront is very unassuming and all you see when you first enter is a few picnic benches and groceries. If you go up the stairs, you'll see the cash register area, and that's where you place your food order. Since it was my first time here, I requested recommendations from the girl working here. She was very helpful and explained the different food they have, mostly el salvadorean, and made recommendations of what to try. We ended up trying the corn tamales and three different types of Pupusas - Revualta which is beans, cheese & pork, Sausage & cheese, and chicken & cheese. It's served with a side of coleslaw topped with either mild or spicy sauce. What can I say about the food? It's made from scratch, it's fresh & flavourful, and it's made with love. I loved the combination of the slaw, spicy sauce and pupusa together. I barely remember thinking I should take a picture of the food, except there was none left on my plate. It's also very affordable with the pupupas coming in at less than $3 each, and the tamales just a little over $3. I'm definitely planning to return again.
