Of the three restaurants I visited in Phoenix during my conference, this was the best - and it was in my hotel. I actually visited it 5 times! First was to have a wonderful peanut butter stout. Next was to have dinner: cauliflower croquettes, beef cheek on blue corn polenta, and pork three ways. Outstanding! Third time was for lunch: Sonoran Caesar Salad. Not as special as it sounds, but they did bring me extra dressing (which was needed). Fourth was to use my drink ticket for a Holiday in Jerez - fantastic! Fifth was for breakfast - the green chili pork chilaquiles, very nice. All the foods I had featured a little tip of the hat to the regional flavors, especially pepper and corn. Do yourself a favor and spare some time away from the convention go-to pubs to check this place out.
