  • I came here last night after a satisfying meal. The plan was to pick up some desserts for my husband who was stuck at home with two crazy kids while I was given the evening for a girls' night out. .....Terrible way to end the night. We showed up around 9 pm. I bought an apple custard pie. My bff bought a tiramisu cake. The total was over $40. We decided to have a seat (it was only 30% full). The waitress (who also sold us the items) informed us that WE MUST SPEND $5 per person in order to sit down at a table. I politely said we spent over $40 on bakery items. She said, "sorry that doesn't count". So to reiterate. It's 9 pm (they close at 10). The restaurant is 30% full. We spent $40 between 3 people. .. but you won't let us sit down to have a quick chat unless we fork over $15 beforehand? Please explain the business logic behind this. On to the item... I should have asked for a refund... because the apple pie was lack lustre. I needed to slather it with vanilla ice cream in order to feel less bad for wasting both my time and money. Needless to say. I will never come back.
