If you buy general admission, it's tough to follow the race fully. Reasons:
1. Hard to read most monitors from gen admission grass areas;
2. Hard to decipher car numbers from ground level vs stands;
3. General admission does not grant access to whole course - it is blocked off in some areas.
4. The announced race over speakers was done in French (sheeeeeee.....it).
Granted, this was my first time not buying a seat at a race, but I'm not sure it's worth saving the money. If you go, you're better off buying a seat, but of course F1 is now more boring (not many lead changes), so maybe save the money for the Monaco race (cool) or Indy racing (more action).
