  • The hotel address is Dundas however the entrance is on Jarvis on the corner of Jarvis and Dundas. If driving up Jarvis do not turn right on Dudas as your GPS may direct. Friday afternoon was not a busy arrival time and perhaps therefore when I arrived there was no one stationed at the front door. It took a few good minutes for a man to arrive to valet our car. He offered no luggage help, not that we needed it. The check in process was painless. We were helped quickly. My gold status was never specifically mentioned. The man checking me in just noted my HHonors info was on file and that because of my membership I was allowed to take two waters from the nearby cooler. I was also given breakfast vouchers. Our room was 512. It was the third highest floor (6th and penthouse were higher). The hallways leading from the lift to room were maze-like and narrow, but the room was clean and spacious. There was a desk and chair. The desk had a light with two in-base plugs. There was a chair with ottoman by the window with a floor lamp. A plug was behind the chair. Between the two beds there was a lamp with 1 outlet. There was a nearby wall outlet where you could unplug the alarm clock to gain another outlet. There was a Keurig by the entrance with a mini fridge and microwave. There was a spot of water damage on the ceiling centered between the feet of the beds. Aside from the cleanliness and the plugs I was really happy with the gym. It was perfect! It's on the second floor by the indoor pool but it didn't smell like chlorine. It's small, but had a good range of Dumbbells, a bench, Swiss ball, medicine balls, bike, elliptical, Treadmills, and a cable machine tower with some good attachment options. There's a cash machine in the lobby. There's a mini shop next to reception where you can buy drinks and other things 24/7. Also note the main front exterior door locks at night and you need your key card to open it. If you need change see the front desk - they can get you the exact fare you need for public transportation or to do laundry. All in all a good hotel experience. I didn't have many interactions with the staff, but the housekeep staff was friendly. Perhaps not very attentive though - there was a plate and 2 wine glasses sitting on a table by the lifts the day of our arrival and 2 days thereafter. The location is good - it is walking distance to public transit (streetcars and subway [Dundas at Yonge-Dundass Square]). There is valet for $40 something a day or a lot across the street (not covered) that costs under $8 a day.
