If there is one word that comes to mind in thinking of Penn Brewery, it is "LOUD". Even being seated far from the boisterous, large party, my companion and I had to raise our voices to be heard as the acoustics are awful with no carpeting. Do not dine here unless you are willing to deal with a lot of noise. The food is excellent. Her gyro and my jaegerschnitzel with brown gravy were delicious and the portions ample. The accompanying french fries and mashed potatoes were top-notch. No bread was brought or offered. I did not realize that my beer sampler was a hefty $17, but for ten decent size glasses, the price was fair. If one person were to consume all of it, they would likely stagger out of the establishment. Apple strudel with cinnamon ice cream was the perfect ending. The meal was $61+ for two plus tip.
