  • Review #900. Saw a few building remnants in the old town of Rhyolite. It's fascinating that in the middle of nowhere in the desert area was a village that doesn't exist anymore. When you visit Death Valley and visit the visitor center, they have a great book selection with some books on Rhyolite history that make you understand the importance of old American settlements such as this.
