  • Showed tech a nail shape that I liked before we started. After the acrylic nail was shaped they got a little too long for what I was looking for. I tried to explain and (I could not believe this) she handed me the file and told me to do it myself. At first I understood and proceeded to shape them. Next, another technician came over and they discussed not in English, diction became more aggressive. She then assured me she was doing what I asked. It wasn't until the bill she decided to throw on a $5 charge for almond shape. Did not notify until bill. Couldn't help but to think it might have something to do with the shaping predicament. You should always notify a customer beforehand for an extra charge. Kathy was the technician and I've never left anything but happy after getting a set. Very sad as I usually have an okay time here. Total cost for almond gels was $50 all said and done. Keep in mind a full set is advertised as $24.99. Interesting how the cost suddenly doubled toward the end.. she briefly and vaguely explained the cost under a mask at the end but overall very disappointed.
