I had went here with a friend for a session before we went to work. I had heard from others that this place is less about the bouldering and more about the top-roping. They were spot on, not that it's a bad thing. If I were a too roper maybe my rating would be higher. I found the bouldering areas challenging, but in a way similar to that of True North. The gradings I found a bit misleading. Some v1's were a bit harder than others but I suppose I've been getting enough practise in that I was able to complete them. The bouldering walls are spread out as well, so if you're looking to change things up you'll have to walk to another room or head upstairs. There's a smaller room upstairs that's all overhangs. Awesome, but that's my weak spot so I was easily frustrated. The price was also decent, $15 all in for a bouldering day pass. I have my own shoes. I apologize but I can't remember how much it is to rent shows. However, they do allow you to wear runners, not something that all climbing gyms do.
