This is a good solid salon, as far as hair cutting goes. I've tried a few stylists here and my favourite is Cheryl. Rather than get caught up in chit-chat (which can be lovely, but not at the expense of my cut!), she stays focused on my hair. As a result, I get what I want. Highly recommend.
..I'm taking a star off my original rating as a result of a problem I had with my cut, where it kept tangling. I don't think this was Cheryl's fault, as it may have been the accumulated damage of "thinning" -- where cutters attempt to layer your hair by cutting into it. After a few cuts like this (the previous one was not by Cheryl), the hair becomes thinner/flatter (I have straight hair) and the ends may become more vulnerable to the damaging effects of hair color and other processing. This is how it was explained to me by an old trusted stylist that I went to see afterwards; he was able to rectify the problem by shortening the cut. I guess the moral of the story is to be wary of this hair cutting technique... it may look good for one or two hair cuts, but then.. eeks.. you may end up with a bird nest on your head;-)
