Stellar dining experience! Exceptional service, food, and facilities. Expect a leisurely dinner with lots of time for drinks and conversation.
We went with a group of 12 on a Wednesday evening. It was a leisurely meal that started with handcrafted cocktails and an array of starters. The restaurant offers 5 and 6 course dinners with wine pairing, but our table opted the share a number of starters and order off the menu. The menu changes depending on the ingredients available.
The Artisan bread basket was delicious and the herbs and balsamic made each bite special. The Meat Shop pork belly was out of this world. It does come with peanuts so beware if anyone at your table has a food allergy. The Aged beef carpaccio had excellent flavor.
I had the Kohlrabi soup with poached egg. The egg was perfectly cooked. The chicken stock was a little bland and could have used a touch if salt (a universal comment at our table). The people who ordered salads were thrilled with their plates.
For the main course, some ordered scallops and steak, while others opted for pasta dishes. I had the potato gnocchi, which was divine. The gnocchi were soft and delicious! I also tried a scallop and it was quite delicious, as was the aged New York strip.
Dessert did not disappoint. I ate a delicious bread pudding. The churro dessert was beautifully presented and fully eaten by everyone who ordered it. The sherbet was plated splendidly and was enjoyed.
