  • I was referred to Dr. Hijazi a year and a half ago for possible Carpal Tunnel Surgery. Now, let me tell you, I am the one who will wait until I have absolutely no use of my hands before I do anything about it due to the fact that I'm terrified of needles, surgery, etc. So, I made my appointment way back when, seen him once and never went back. Again, not his fault, only mine. Too ! So this fall rolls around and I can barely feel my hands most days, but still I decide to just roll with it. Then I got something called Trigger Finger which left me no choice but to return to the"dreaded surgeon"! Well let me just tell you...Dr. Hijazi and his staff were kind, caring and understanding about my fears without compromising professionalism. He did such an amazing job with my trigger finger surgery, I decided to bite the bullet and get my carpal tunnel surgery over with. Ok now mind you, I'm still just as afraid so I scheduled it for 6 or 7 weeks out to psych myself up for it. Well I had my 1st surgery on my right hand a week ago today. Now I've done nothing all week but kick myself in the butt for putting it off for so long. It literally was a little achy but that was it. I took 2 otc ibuprofen twice. That was it. I didn't need anything else. I couldn't believe it was so easy. Literally, the worst thing about it was the fasting after midnight. So, now the best part... I had my bandages removed yesterday and would you believe the incision looks so good, I'm almost positive I'll have no scar. Since the whole thing was so easy, I made my appointment to have my left hand done in just a few weeks as opposed to a month or more. And instead of the fear, I'm just excited to get it done with. Dr Hijazi is the best at what he does. There's not a doubt in my mind there. I've compared my hand to others who had surgery anywhere from 1 - 5+ years ago, and already my hand looks better as far as where he put the incision. Also my carpal tunnel... completely gone. As I said...NO ONE better than Dr. Hijazi! Since I could only give 5 stars on this app, I found my own stars to give him more! Thank you Dr. Hijazi, office staff, and surgery center.
