| - DONT DO IT! I have lived here for almost a year and can say I am definitely moving! For one my water bill is $100+ every month! (I love by myself with no washer and am gone for 12 hours a day mon-fri). I complain every month about it and they keep telling me they are working on it and after 10 months it is still not correct! The grounds are not safe as I find screws and nails EVERYWHERE and the last time I took my dog running I had a 2 inch screw go sideways through my shoe which barely missed my foot and later my dog stepped on it hurting herself, I emailed the complex with photographs and didn't even receive so much as an apology. I have still found numerous screws and nails since and I pick them up, but nothing. Also, I went out of town and my apartment was broken in to so its just generally not a safe area & my hub caps were stolen off my car. My ac goes out once a month and my heat did the same in the winter. My stove was way too hot when I first moved in and it gave me 2nd almost 3rd degree burns. The only positive I can say about the stove, ac, and heat is that maintence fixed those really quick. Also with my apartment being broken into I think it was staged because I NEVER unlock my windows and the person allegedly came through an unlocked window and took out the screen, but the front door remained locked the entire time and no prints were found. Also their onsite washer and dryers are horrible- after trying to dry my clothes 3 times and them still not being dry I started going to my friend house to do laundry, plus you have to load your card during office hours because the box to do so is locked in the main office.
They have a dog park but the one gate doesn't swing shut, and the other gate is busted + no one cleans up after their dogs and they don't even have doggy bags in all the "pet stations".
I was drawn in my Billie because she was great even though the head staff lady at the complex can be a bit rude she is sometimes nice depending on what day you catch her. I was also drawn in by the quoted $747 rent price but my rent has been $850 a month and now they want to resign me for an extra $50 a month! No way in hell! I wish I would have seen a review like this before renting with them instead of the bs reviews on their page. People are always moving out of here, I will be too, and I advise you don't waste your money, safety, or sanity on this joke of a complex.
And for the record I have been in several times discussing my water bill and everything else and nothing has been done- so putting on the "please come into the office" comment is just a front.
The only thing saving this place is Billies awesome service and the amazing maintenance men! Whenever I have an issue with something they are there asap typically within just a couple hours and make sure you're happy! Seriously the maintenance team are rock stars!
