  • TIME FOR AN UPDATE! Tigi has been going to Paws Salon for 12+ years and I trust the owner Tracy 100000% with the grooming and doggie daycare of my precious dog child. Tigi never leaves my side, she goes with me EVERYWHERE (no joke)... and if she is not with me, I only trust my parents or Tracy. Tigi is a 7lb Yorkshire Terrior who has INCREDIBLE social skills because of her lifetime spent at Paws. Dogs of all sizes can roam free if they want (boooo cages!) and Tracy engages with each and every one of them on an individual basis. The valleys very own dog whisperer?? I think so. We all know dogs are social pack animals - and let it be known that the Notorious T.I.G. is a BOSS at Paws. All 7lbs of her may act haughtily towards some of her taller, more mouthy friends - but don't be fooled - she'll drive them crazy with kisses when nobody is looking. You'll find Tigi here every Tuesday and Thursday for a bath and trim... and the occasional random day when mommy has an important meeting or just needs a break. Paws Salon is conveniently located across from the Valley Ho - I will often bring her here for just doggy daycare alone when I'm across the street for a stay-cation or want to do some doggy-free shopping at Scottsdale Fashion Square. As an added side note... as Tigi ages, Tracy always makes sure to inform me of any suspicious bumps she finds or changes in behavior. Sometimes, I wonder if she knows Tigi better than me?!! There have even been times I've texted her after hours to discuss her health or ask advice. For Tigi... this trusting, lifelong relationship did not happen overnight or on a single visit - and I personally feel incredibly lucky to have been referred to Tracy 12 years ago. Tigi's trim is always perfect, regardless of what phase we're going through (puppy cut, schnauzer cut, 60's gypsy) and moreover I know she's hanging with Tracy and her crew in my absence. Thank you a million times over!!!!!!!!
