| - This pool is legit, I had a blast!
Pre-Pool Party Prep:::: If you want to go to this pool party, it's best you get on a guest list the day before, and make sure to check who is the DJ because if its David Guetta for example, you'll want to text your promoter two days before. Promoters can be found anywhere and I found mine on instagram with the hashtag #wetrepublic.
Getting There::::: You'll want to make sure you get there before at least 2pm, if you don't want any problems I say try to get there before at least 12:30pm. When you arrive to the MGM, there are signs for the pools, and you have to walk ahead of at least 3 pools before getting there and going threw security. Security is a bit of pain as you have to walk through different places as a precaution, honestly I don't mind this because of my own personal safety. Also a bonus of getting there early is to get a spot around the big pool!
Lockers are $50, but they're so worth it, if you want your phone out in the pool, I definitely recommend bringing those waterproof cases. Drinks run about $30-45 but come in giant water bottle. They also run a $75 special of unlimited mimosa until 3pm. They are expensive but if you have the right bartender it's worth it.
What I really enjoyed about this place is the ambiance, everyone is ready to have a good time, and since we came on a Sunday, they were broadcasting the Football Games on the giant screens.
I went with my boyfriend the weekend after Hurricane Harvey and we met so many different people checking in on Houston asking how it was in Houston, and just overall a friendly crowd.
This a must for Vegas, so go ahead and put it on your checklist!
