AYCE sushi is the best bang for your buck when you're able to consume more food than a starving college student. Now that i've been finished with school my ability to consume half the oceans supply of fish has greatly diminished but nonetheless I still can hammer time quite a fair amount of sushi.
Atmosphere/service: Fairly busy with an attentive sushi bar but as for the male wait staff it could be much better. The decor resembles that of an older sushi restaurant that's been in business and Sushi mon has definitely been one of the lasting pioneers for sushi.
Food: I only eat nigiri and will share a roll with a friend. That being said, the quality of the fish is more important and essentially thats what sushi is, is the nigiri. I'm a yellowtail fiend and typically the first 2 orders are incredibly fresh with a beautiful dark pink to clear color. The chefs here are Japanese trained and cut the nigiri with just the right amount of thickness and low rice to fish ratio. They have implemented a new white chef who (no offense) cuts the nigiri poorly.
Overall: Quiet nights when I just want to enjoy sushi alone, this is the place I choose. Fresh nigiri, professional sushi chefs, and proximity to my home makes this a winner
