| - After living here for three years, I am changing my review from a four to a two star. Since the new owners have taken over, this place has turned from a nice, family oriented complex to a robotic, " we're just here to make money," machine. While the new office people are polite (they did away with all of the old staff), they do not care about you. You are a number to them. I didn't even get an "I'm sorry to see you go," when I signed my release papers.
Where it used to take 2-3 hours for me to get maintnence problems resolved, it now takes
2-3 days. They are renovating the entire complex, apartment-by-apartment, so that they can rent them for a much higher price than before.
Granted they are obviously trying to redesign the place for a more upscale clientele, but for $1,300 a month (the quote they just gave us to renew our lease), you can get a good house instead of a two bedroom apartment.
The pool and exercise room, along with the leasing office is under full renovation right now, so all of those amenities won't be available for another month or two. Why they chose to do them in the spring rather than winter when nobody uses them still escapes me, yet I'm still paying for those.
I really hate having to leave this place, since they have have some of the best space designs out there, but again, you're better off finding a house to rent.
