As a new arrival to the valley after leaving a club where one could play social tennis any day of the week, I have been greatly disappointed in the club. True the facility is wonderful, but the management lacks any program to help introduce tennis players to members. I found this very true on the female side. Everything is based on inter club play! What happened to social tennis and that tennis is a life long sport. It took three months to be assigned a team, all teams were established in May, so what happens when you cove to the valley I. July???? Once put on a team, the scheduled has us playing at the Village only nine times out of twenty-four matches. Then of course the "mandatory" clinics which cost $$$. So why pay dues when it averages $50 or more per visit for tennis. I will say the instructors for water aerobics went out of their way to make each new participant feel a part of the group. Needless tom say we have cancelled our membership and looking for a club that offers social tennis and a way to meet other members.
