First impression was excellent. Second impression was even better.
The food is very well made, and the menu has a great selection from the traditional to the weird (I think I saw a peanutbutter burger!) Drinks are relatively inexpensive for South Side, making it a great hangout spot.
One thing that is quickly making OTB my newest watering hole is the crowd. Younger 20's and 30's clientele mostly. I can't say for certain, but I think it might be the location that keeps away the more rowdy college students. Staff is super polite and genuinely seem to enjoy getting to know their customers.
It does have a dive bar feel, but it's pushing its own "modern BMX pop punk" kind of vibe I haven't seen anywhere else. I personally love that kind of scene, but it's worth mentioning since not everyone is into that.
I'll definitely be enjoying my time here again and again.
