  • Been craving doughnuts since watching a documentary on carnival food. Didn't want to settle for cold, holes in holes of dough at Tim Horton's, so I made a special trip here. These doughnuts are fried fresh on the spot and you can watch the whole thing happen as it pops out of the mold into the oil and swims in a spiral formation until it's cooked and lands on a conveyer belt, and ends up in the bag. Aside from it being hot and fresh, the tiny golf ball shaped doughnuts are airy and super fluffy. If you pinch them, they will depress! Shake them in the bag while it's still hot so the icing at the bottom of the bag coats onto the doughnut's oil. Apple Cinnamon: tastes mostly cinnamony but is worth a try.
