rev:text	I wish I could give more than one star but it wouldn't be a true representation for others to base decisions on. I hired CKBR to do a relatively small kitchen and bath remodel. It was supposed to be about 4 to 6 weeks. It was over 12 weeks of pure disorganization, no shows, poor workmanship and no project management that was apparent to me. I had NO water except in my quest bathroom for most of the 12 weeks since they came and demoed without a plan for putting things back together. I know the remodel industry is plagued by the inability to hire and keep qualified, skilled labor but CKBR seems to be very hard hit. I was rarely informed about when someone was going to be coming to work and when they did show up they rarely stayed more than 3 to 4 hours, often only a couple hours and then I wouldn't see or hear from anyone for 2 weeks. Project management failed to project a written plan or schedule though I asked in writing and verbally 9 times. With a couple exceptions (countertop guy and drywall guy) the skill level was amateur, DIY level. I ended up doing and or fixing many, many items myself. The workers constantly asked what they were supposed to do, etc. In then end, after MUCH frustration and stress I am happy with 85% of the finished project. My biggest mistake was agreeing to their payment requirements, which meant they had 99% of the money before the job was done. If you do choose CKBR DO NOT agree to give them more than 1/3 maximum until the job is complete. This company has serious work to do to overcome the negative reviews. I cannot recommend them at this time.
