| - I have driven by here for many years when coming to visit family nearby. We've always kept on going because we eat at my family's house. In this occasion, I was on my way to their house and had time to kill & hadn't eaten lunch.
When I walked in, I was a little discouraged to see it was needing a little sprucing up. Anyways, I decided to try this place out. I have been craving street tacos, but thought tacos of any kind would settle me.
What I liked a lot was the chips and salsa bar, where you help yourself. I tried a red and a verde salsa. Both were good with a little heat. I got a pickled jalapeƱo and the last of the radishes. They really needed to restock the chips & salsas, and condiments.
I decided to get a Fish Taco and an Adobada Taco. The size of the tortillas was your regular sized corn tortillas, not the smaller street taco size. At $2.49 a piece, I felt I got my money's worth. I really enjoyed the fish taco. The fish was hot and crispy. It was topped with lettuce, pico de gallo & a white sauce. The adobada taco was good, but was a little salty. It was topped with guacamole & pico de gallo and enhanced the taco!
Don't judge the book by its' cover! I would come back for a burrito or some other items that looked good, too!
