As the General Manager of a local Las Vegas business which maintains and utilizes numerous vehicles among other company assets in the course of business. Earlier today I, along with an Assistant Manager for our company stopped by Terribles Car Wash and Gas Station located on 100 S. Rainbow Blvd. and the 95 to gas up two vehicles and get them washed. I regularly would stop by this place for gas and an occasional car wash for several of our vehicles since it was close to one of our office locations. With fuel and the purchase of two of their supposedly best car washes I spent well over $100 today. As we pulled the vehicles in to the vacuuming area I noticed something had been spilled on the carpet in the back of one of the vehicles and immediately sprayed water on it. Soaking it down real well. Figuring I'm at the car wash, they'll clean it and wipe it down. Isn't that what you're supposed to get for a $25 car wash? The vehicles went through the car wash and the detail crew took over. When we went to the vehicle I observed that the spot on the carpet was still wet and had not been wiped. I pointed it out to the so called detail worker. He told me he was not going to wipe the wet carpet. I said "Fine, give me the rag and I'll do it myself." He in a smart ass way replied "It's against company policy!" Now mind you, I AM AT A CAR WASH were you go supposedly to clean your vehicles and I am being told by this snot nosed kid that he's not going to clean my vehicle which I paid them to clean - and when he refused to give me the rag so I could clean it myself --- OK! I went and got the So-called Manager who at that moment was catching an earful about how his workers were only pre-soaking certain cars. The Senior Citizen Female was asking why when she paid for their top service her car did not get pre-soaked like other certain vehicles she'd observed. This Manager didn't want to hear her complaint and immediately began selling her soap. Seriously, the Manager didn't listen to the customers complaint which resulted with her ultimately asking why they at that location discriminated against Senior Citizens? Of course that was ignored as well. Seeing she was going nowhere I spoke up about my complaint. When I explained to the Manager about what had happened - which I did in the presence of the employee, the Manager again stood dumbfounded like he did not have a clue. Well, that dog did not hunt for that little old lady and it certainly did not hunt for me. I told him that I paid to get my vehicles cleaned and they were not cleaned. That I would not be back to that location for any reason and was taking my business elsewhere in the future. If this is a typical example of how Terribles actually runs its businesses and treat its customers WHEN it is WE the Consumer who pays Terribles, the solution is simple. I will take my business elsewhere and recommend everyone else does as well. People deserve to be treated with respect and receive the services they pay for, which clearly isn't the case at the Terribles Car Wash 100 South Rainbow & the 95! And oh by the way, I too am a senior as well.
