  • This was my second visit here in the past couple months. It does have a nice vibe I suppose, but after my latest experience, I will not return. I went last night around 7:30 pm with a friend of mine and we got one drink each. The bar was halfway empty and we took up space for about fifteen minutes while we finished our drink, we did not linger nor take space away from any waiting guests. On the credit card, I left a couple dollars for a tip (keep in mind one drink each) and the bartender right there on the spot decided to shame me for not leaving him enough. Right in front of my company he told me that that was a terrible tip and even in the States that would be bad. I'm not even sure what that meant . I could go on about the tip amount being okay or not, but whether it was or wasn't he had no right to try and embarrass me in front of my company. It was more than just one snide comment. He really tried to rub in the fact that he was unhappy with my tip. His name at the bottom of the receipt is Philippe. Try to avoid him unless you want your tip dissected in front of your entire company.
