| - I love David's Tea, no matter what tea snobs tell me... I don't care. Excellent service, ability to get WHATEVER amount you want, lots of fun flavors, and I always walk out happy.
1) Excellent Service
Right when you walk in here, we were treated with smiles and a mini glass of their Tea of the Day. There were lots of friendly staff available to introduce us to new teas. My friend and I smelled A LOT of teas, he just kept coming with suggestions! The best and most important part is that... We felt ZERO obligation to buy anything. He was just a tea lover showing us some teas.
2) Ability to buy whatever amount
Usually at any other tea shops, you're obligated to buy 50g of tea leaves. That's fine and dandy, average of $7 (and could get up to $20 for the expensive white teas).
Alright, but if you're just trying a tea... even $7 isn't really worth it right? At David's Tea, you can buy ANY amount. 25g is probably what I recommend... so yes! You can get a bag for as low as $2! If you end up loving the tea, buy the 100g and you'll get a nice tin for that.
3) Lots of fun flavors
Pick your tea type: green, black, rooibos (caffeine-free), white, herbal, or flowering.
Pick your flavor: fruity, sweet, soothing, pure, minty, chocolate,.. whatever you like!
So you only like regular teas with nothing fancy, they have it. You like rose pedals and sweet smelling teas, they have that. Jelly beans, popcorn, candy confetti, yup! I have liked almost every tea I've tried.
They even have this tea called Oh Canada, with maple and maple-shaped candy confetti.
It's just fun here! There are also variety packs like the tea starter kit, the cold emergency kit, green tea sampler...
4) I always walk out happy
I usually buy just 25g of each teas and I buy more than 5 different teas. My total is only just $30!
You can also buy a tea to go. About $3 for a large cup. They'll do iced tea as well with any of their teas, and they always ask if you'd like honey/agave with your tea.
This particular location is great. Small, but all their teas are there. Very friendly and tea-loving staff, and a few chairs if you'd like to enjoy a tea.
