We had an impromptu stop over at Toronto, got the Marriott Toronto airport for US$122 with a priceline deal last minute. Marriott was priced at $118 so not much of a deal, but most portals and hotels add a lot of taxes and fees. They do have an airport shuttle but we had a rental car. Parking was charged at CA$11/night - there was plenty of space and really no need for charging. Reception staff was polite and offered to help with luggage and provided 2-3 bottles of water. Wifi worked very well, lobby was posh. A little expensive just for quick airport stopover, so next time I would go for the 3.5 star hotels around the airport, they would do just fine and avoid the extra charges.
