rev:text	I've been eyeballing this salon for a few weeks now. Being a curly girl, super curly and thick, to be exact, I was reluctant for several reasons. The biggest reason being that many stylist in Las Vegas are not well versed in cutting my texture. I was finally forced to go when I could no longer tolerate my stringy split ends. On a whim, I called to book the day of. Luckily, they had an appointment available with Melissa, a DevaCurl Stylist. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a stylist that has completed a special hands-on course for super curly and highly textured hair. I'm SO GLAD that I booked with MELISSA. She was very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. She asked me a ton of questions to learn what I needed. She modified my cut a bit because I wasn't aware that I needed to come in with my curls styled as I wear them so she cut my hair wet, being sure to allow my curl to bounce back before cutting and not cutting too much. My hair has now had the opportunity to dry so I now see the results. I LOVE MY CUT! She cut just enough and the shape is what I was looking for! I was told that the guy at the front desk was the owner. To be an owner, he was not friendly at all. Good thing is that his staff made up for it. Perhaps he should stay from behind the desk area away from guests.
