  • I had a poster framed there, since it had a weird shape and a standard frame would not have worked. I picked Michaels hoping that it would be a little cheaper than going to a real framer, but it wasn't particularly cheap at all: I ended up paying over $100 for a very standard metal frame and the cheapest kind of glass. They did the job right, but it took two weeks, and their staff was not particularly helpful. Now about the store: it's really more about crafts than about arts... Their art supplies selection is actually quite tiny and disappointing, and I'd probably look somewhere else if I were looking for some serious supplies. 2-1/2 stars.
