Excellent ambiance, with a solid menu, well executed. Decent vegetarian selection including the miso soup if you are willing to wait for a batch to be made without fish. (We called ahead with our reservation this last time and they confirmed this special request when seating us.) They also have a gluten-free selection as well, including tamari.
My partner raves about the fish here; on our last visit, he said it was the best he'd had in a year (and we've eaten A LOT of sushi in the past year). Bonus for ginger fans: I have never seen a sushi restaurant provide this much ginger with each meal! Take out orders as well.
Reservations are definitely recommended, as they are frequently very busy.
