  • Meh I have seen better. Let's start with the price. Too much. Yes it's a big theater with a lot of extras but they don't offer much in the discount of matinees and in their every day run of the mill seating is too much in comparison to some surrounding theaters. The extras are nice if you are willing to pay for them, but I hate spending money on popcorn let alone some of the other gravely overpriced goods peddled at the movies. I guess my biggest complaint would be the staff and how they don't follow what I would assume would be the rules to entering a rated R movie. Rewind to the last time we came here. We saw Moonlight. Moonlight is rated R by the Motion Picture Rating (MPAA) Rated R for some sexuality, drug use, brief violence, and language throughout. There is a ton of swearing, drug use and some sexual scenes throughout the film, not to mention the content of the movie is not appropriate for children. What's this theater do? Sells about 6 tickets to a family with at least 3-4 underage children and a baby to see this movie after 9 pm on a Friday night. Way to go parents and theater employees! How do I know this? Cause the crew arrived in late and sat in the front, just so you could see them getting up and down during the whole movie. And did I mention there was a baby! A baby in the movies isn't the best idea period but come on! This baby must have changed hands between I'm guessing mother, guessing grandmother, and some other family member (seated in different sections of the theater) while having screaming crying episodes repeatedly throughout the film. Other patrons were clearly annoyed as well but this did not deter the family from continuing to view the movie with the baby in tow, crying and such and several other children. I am still shocked that they sold these tickets to this family that must not care what exposure their underage children have, or perhaps this is normal everyday life to them. Nothing like having a child view a movie my mother would blush at. Epic fail AMC Lowe's. I don't see coming back here unless there is a movie playing that I can't see elsewhere and don't want to wait.
