  • OMG....we had a great meal, great service and a great time. My co-worker and friend retired this week. Our company provides an opportunity for a group lunch. She could have chosen any place in town but insisted on the Marketplace Café. She loves the salmon nicoise salad and the tomato basil soup. I was not sure how the restaurant could accommodate a party of 25 without creating a logistics nightmare at the ordering counter. But with an advanced phone call or two, they worked everything out. They not only set up one large reserved seating area but they took our orders at the table. I was able to add a few balloons and table decorations so it really looked like a party. When the group arrived, they were very impressed. Brendan Beaudreault, the Assistant Manager went above duty and was so gracious. He put together a Nordstrom gift bag full of wonderful items and presented it to our friend. She was over the moon. Frank, our favorite server took amazing care of us. Everyone was thrilled with their food choices and the desserts were divine as usual. It was a great day for our retiree and the rest of us too. Five stars for sure!
