I found this festival sorely disappointing. I have been to other Renaissance Festivals since childhood, so I guess I had high expectations. I saw perhaps two costumes that actually appeared to be from the Renaissance Period, and those were very well done. The rest of the performers were very overweight women wearing extremely scantily clad bellydancing outfits, and shirtless men with random colors of body paint on their faces. There was hardly any entertainment. We were there over two hours and did not see any shows going on. There were vendors everywhere, with many of them selling things that had nothing to do with the Renaissance. It kind of felt like a Halloween party with random costumes from all time periods and places where people had not showered for days.
