  • Hotel Monaco is incredible. I got married the weekend before Christmas and we had our hotel block here. I could not be more thrilled with the service and experience. I had been communicating with them for months leading up to the wedding to make sure everything was in order with our hotel block. I worked with Paige and she was wonderful. So helpful and prompt in responding to all of my emails. I told her that we planned to have an informal "after party" at the Commoner following our reception, and she made sure that the staff was aware so they would stay open past their regular closing time of midnight. My husband and I booked a regular king size room, and were upgraded to a suite. Wow. It was the most stunning room I have ever been in, and the staff was so so sweet. Everyone in the hotel seemed to know we were getting married and was so nice and congratulatory all weekend. Many of our guests, including us, had brunch the following morning at the Commoner. I've eaten dinner at the Commoner before, but never brunch. The food there is always great and brunch was no exception. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Monaco, whether you're from out of town, or live in Pittsburgh and just want a weekend away from home. Having our wedding here was a bit out of our budget, but staying here for the weekend gave us the next best thing!
