  • This is the best mall in Ontario in my opinion. For a while now, at least for the past 15 years prior to Eaton's Centre deciding to get it's act together and renovate, most shoppers (downtown or in the GTA) had headed North to Yorkdale to seek a quality mall shopping experience. Sure it's ridiculous parking here. But it's a little better they have installed electronic boards letting you know the status of which areas are occupied in real time. There's a multi-level parking expansion happening, due to complete end of 2012. So that may help with congestion. There's a lot going for this mall. It has wide breadth of quality stores and it has the convenience of TTC/Go Transit accessibility. All the top brands in the country have a piece of the action here. Look at the current store directory. http://yorkdale.com/stores/ You can go broke here in an afternoon easily. $5K at Holts, $3K at Apple, $5K at Tiffany's, no problem.
