I came here for an early weekday dinner with a couple of old high school friends for one of our monthly get togethers. The place was pretty deserted when we arrived (around 6:00 pm) and we were seated promptly. On the whole, we enjoyed our selections but weren't blown away (especially given the high expectations set by earlier reviewers). I had hoped to introduce my friends a new Italian spot that would impress them, but while they enjoyed the meal, I didn't think they were rushing to come back. The service was okay, but again not at the level we would've expected for such a fine establishment.
While we were there the restaurant started to fill up and I did find myself thinking that it is a charming atmosphere, and saw a wealthy presumably Rosedale family fill up one of the round tables. And I did think it would be a nice place to host a larger group at that table. I might be open to giving this place another chance, but my first experience was good not great.
