I've come here a few times and normally they do a really good job. My last time here however did disappoint me. I came a week before my son's graduation since I knew I wouldn't have time in the days before. I decided to do a mani pedi this time since it was special occasion. My feet soaked in the water for so long without anyone coming by that the water got cold. Finally my lady came by and barely took any time scraping off dead skin or any of the good stuff. She asked if I wanted to cut my nails or just file. I looked at my nails to see if I should shorten them or not but before I answered she grabbed the clippers and said, "I can cut like this" and clipped one of my nails super short! I pulled back my foot and told her it was way too short and please don't cut anymore nails. I finally get my toenails done and I walk over to the manicure station. I had old gel polish to remove so I wait for the acetone to do its job. My lady then comes over and starts scraping off the old polish but I notice she also starts to scrape off the top layer of my natural nail pretty hard. I've never had this done before so I was little hesitant that my nails would be too thin afterwards but after all she's the nail tech. She then starts my French tip but seems snappy when I ask her to go a little thinner line. She put like 4 coats of white before the clear. Now, logically I would think that that would create a bumpy tip and perhaps it should be the other way around right? About 2 coats of white and 4 of the clear to keep it smooth and intact but again, she's the tech. There's 2 nails that visibly look very crooked but she just kept telling me "she wasn't done yet". If it's gel though there's really no going back and fixing it like normal polish but I just sit back and let her. After all is said and done my mani is done and just like I suspected the my nails look bumpy and wavy because of the tip being so thick and the 2 crooked nails are still very visible but whatever I had been in that salon for way too long already. As I turn to walk away my big toe smudges! After almost 2 hours it still wasn't remotely set. She angrily fixed it, I paid and left. Fast forward a few days later the day before my son's graduation the thick tips start to peel because of course they're too thick compared to the rest of the nail. The tips start to peel and my nail underneath is so paper thin that they just ripping off with the slightest touch. By the day of I had my one thumb nail chipped, the other completely broken with no white tip left and another nail missing half the polish. This was a month ago, my nails are still so weak and thin that I can't go get them done anywhere because they just keep breaking before I'm able to grow them out at all. I'm sure at one point I'll be back but I definitely won't go to this lady I had before. I only wish I got her name so I can make sure not to get her again.
