  • I've been to Lakewood Park so many times that I'm shocked that I've never reviewed it yet. I moved to Cleveland on August 12, 2017. I first came here on August 30, 2017 to do a Nike workout with my roommate in the evening. Well, I think that was my first time there. My roommate and I did the workout on the grass facing the lake. The lakeview is beautiful as well as the downtown Cleveland view. I've come here several times since my first time here to take walks or go jogging. Once, I came in the evening on a weekend with some friends. We went to the playground area which I previously must not have noticed before. As adults, we all had fun at the playground playing on the swings and climbing on other playground equipment. Around 11pm, some patrol guard (or park attendant) told everyone outside that the playground was closing so we all had to leave. I definitely like the orderly fashion of the place (close and open on time) and I felt safe being here at night. The park is very clean for a big park. My favourite parts of the park are the stairs and the swinging chairs. The steps are great for exercising. I love climbing up the stairs to view the expansive lake. As long as I'm living in Cleveland, I'll also come here to walk, or sit and read. This is a very chill and relaxing park as all parks should be :)
