  • So, I don't get my nails done very often and I can be really particular when it comes to cleanliness and how easy it is to comfortably communicate with my nail stylist. I did hours of research while I was in Vegas looking for a place to go that would be memorable. After much debating I settled on Elan's. I called and Jackie answered the phone, and was able to schedule me with her mother who I believe was Elan herself. My plan was to get stiletto nails with some designs at a reasonable price. The place was rather difficult to find as it was located in an unusual place, but I was able to locate it in time. I would recommend that if you haven't been here before that you give yourself at least 30 minutes leeway to find the place or you will be late. I, thankfully, was not but I had about five minutes to spare when I arrived. I walked in and was greeted by a very cheerful woman with a lovely accent who told me she was going to be taking care of me. She told me to sit down and discuss with her what I wanted. For about ten minutes we looked at pictures that I had as well as pictures of previous clients she had done. I told her that I ultimately wanted something that I couldn't get anywhere else and that would remind me of my trip in Vegas. We settled on a clear to colored foil ombré with sparkles. I did change my mind a tad while she was working on me but she was able to accommodate me perfectly. I ended up with stiletto nails that went from clear to gold and pink specks of foil with sparkles and was very pleased with the result. As far as cleanliness, the salon appears to be in good condition. She puts all of her tools in a disinfectant before using and makes sure you're comfortable. I felt that the woman who helped me was very sweet and very spiritual. She was able to connect with me and make my nails match my personality. One of my favorite things that she told me was when I had changed my mind about something and apologized for being all over the place. She'd responded with: "It's okay. When you're here, it's an all you can eat buffet. I give you what you want and make you happy." I left feeling confident that I'd picked the right place to go. My nails ended up being 60 dollars, which was cheap considering that I'd gotten one of the most expensive designs. If you want a regular French acrylic or even just one color stiletto nails, it would be about 35 dollars. Would recommend if you're vacationing in Vegas and want something memorable. Very good.
