  • I am a big brisket fan, so I ordered the brisket platter. The portion was small but the flavor was even smaller or non-existant. The was absolutely no flavor other than the vinegar based sauce they used, which wasn't very good either. The brisket had no noticeable smoke ring and had smoke flavor. The brisket was dry and chewy except for the sauce. The onion ring were bland, nothing special. The menu said cold beer and they couldn't even get that right. Over-all I was highly disappointed. I was hoping to find some place closer to home than Mac's speed shop for good brisket but I guess I'll keep looking.
