| - It is always nice to find a good restaurant in Las Vegas which is located outside of casino, so you don't need to roam through a crowd and rely on a questionable signs which tend to disappear on you.
Triple George is located near the old Las Vegas Main Street, and had been around for a while. Inside, very nice ambiance of an old steakhouse with modern flair. We were sitting in the booth, which allows for a nice, quiet conversation.
Good wine list with large selection and what is most important for me, reasonable prices. Had Willamette Valley estate Pinot Noir which was just spot on.
We had steak tartar as an appetizer, and it was very tasty - perfect set of spices to create very nice flavor. We also shared a Wedge salad (head of iceberg lettuce with sauce etc.) which was very tasty.
My main dish was small 5 oz steak fillet and shrimp. Shrimp were cooked perfectly, but the steak, which I asked for medium-rare, was closer to medium, but most importantly, was reminiscent of liver in the flavor (was also lacking the sauce). My dining companion had Cioppino, and it was very flavorful.
Very nice, friendly service.
Recommended.
