rev:text	We were referred here when our dog was having a problem with one of her eyes. Dr. Weinstein was great, and gave us medicine and all of the options we had for her glaucomated eye. She eventually needed to lose the eye, and is now being affected in her remaining eye, so we're back for treatment. The pharmaceutical prices are on par with what you would expect (although we've never been offered a generic of anything...I'm sure some exist of at least SOME of these eye drops). Our dog has been very well cared for, which is where they earn all 3 stars I'm giving them. The reasons they lose two stars are below. The staff is always very thorough and attentive...when they get to you. Don't be surprised if you make an appointment as far as a month in advance and get stuck waiting over an hour past your appointment time to even be called back...wishful thinking if you believe setting an appointment actually means you'll see the doctor at that time. The wait times are consistently unacceptable, and there's little you can do about it because your pet's health is in their hands. It is extremely frustrating and just poor practice. The other complaint I have is their prices. We were quoted $2,000 for our baby's eye removal surgery. TWO GRAND. We got a quote from our normal vet and paid less than $900 for a job well done. We are a three months out from the surgery now and have not had a single problem, and she looks just as cute as ever. Not sure where the $1100 markup came from!
