My wife and I played the south course with a nice couple who were novice players. The course has wide fairways with adequate trapping and few other hazards. The greens have lots of slope and a very grainy type of grass. They don't hold particularly well and are deceptively slow. These greens could be very smooth and fast if cut and rolled but it would likely not go over well on such a resort course. The pace was ok at 4 1/2 hrs(We were slow due to our novice partners).
My complaint was with the starter who did not mention what they expected for pace of play and did not explain the odd tee system they have with the gold/jade. Most average or below should be playing these tees but it needs to be explained. Also they need another set of forward tees for a lot of ladies and seniors.
Overall the staff was friendly and the breakfast was excellent.
