Ikea is always a fun filled adventure. There is so much to look at & it's set up in a way that once you've seen all of the things, you're back at the exit. I was here looking for a new coffee table, found one for $130, but decided to look at the scratch & dent section before my purchase. I found a coffee table there for FIFTEEN DOLLARS!! It did have a scratch, and a dent, but I would have ended up denting it at some point anyway so who cares? The only thing I don't like about Ikea is the checkout process. The cashiers are never friendly. I purchased some dishes & was surprised when the cashier said, "there's paper here for you to wrap those." First off, I'm loading up the belt with things I'm buying, and second off, he points right beside himself & is doing NOTHING else. Why don't they do it for you? Or why don't they at least have a wrap station so you're not holding up other people in the line? Ikea has created a great customer shopping experience only to be crushed by checkout process. I hope it changes, but I doubt it will because it has always been this way.
