  • I saw this place on Yelp and didn't know it existed so I thought it would be a good idea to check it out for this evenings latte and pastry. The Place is a little cafe/florist on the ground floor of the new condo on the west side of church, south of Jarvis. The atmosphere is pleasant with jazz music floating through the air and a tasteful amount of greenery. I ordered a mocha latte and the mango cheesecake. Both had a perfect restraint on the amount of sugar which is greatly appreciated. Service was pleasant and helpful when selecting a pastry choice (cheesecakes made in house). Wifi was a respectable 20mb dl/14mb ul, power is available. The only downside is that there are only three tables so a seat may not be guaranteed when it's busy... But that won't stop me coming back and trying grabbing a seat.
