I've had Katie cut my hair several times and every cut is better than the last. She listens to what I want and makes suggestions on styling that have been really helpful. And for only $40.
I have really long naturally wavy hair that grows incredibly fast, which I only cut every 4-6 months, so that means that my hair has to be re-styled every time I go to the salon. Which can be a pain for the hairdresser. A pet peeve is when salons suggest I come in more to "better maintain my style," which I won't do since I rarely get split ends...and I'm lazy...and cheap. This is the only salon that has let me be about the infrequency of my appointments.
The salon has a faux upscale look that I don't find appealing for a spa, but since I only use it for haircuts I can overlook that. The clientele is vastly in the social security bracket, but they have a lot of young hairdressers who get really excited when a customer comes in looking for more than a touch-up on the ol' monthly perm.
