  • So I am definitely one that seeks out authentic bbq in any southern city I visit for work or play. I happened to be in Charlotte for work and knew I had to stop by one of the Midwood locations. They are a brisket house by far, meaning they are a Texas style bbq. I ordered the four meat combination platter to try everything. I selected the brisket, chopped pork, pulled chicken, and the pork ribs. By far the brisket was the best of the bunch, even though everything was quite tasty. The brisket was melt in your mouth. I selected half lean and half fatty for the brisket. Paired with Mac n cheese and cole slaw, I enjoyed every bite! Come hungry! Definitely will make another trip here.
