My husband and I enjoyed a comfortable flight to Chicago O'hare on American Airlines a few weeks ago. Due to bad weather, our return flight was at first delayed several times, and then cancelled. We spent an interesting evening "sleeping" at the airport because our new flight left at 5:00 the following morning, so there really wasn't much time to get a hotel and get back. There were incurred costs for food, seating, travel arrangements and such due to the flight cancellation, so I called AA upon our return in hopes of getting reimbursed. Sandy called me this morning and very kindly informed me that my husband and I would each be receiving a $300 travel voucher and hoped that our future travels with American Airlines would be better. I would like to thank American for standing by their customers and righting a situation that they had no control over. We have flown comfortably and uneventfully on AA for years and will continue to do so. Thanks again!
