We look forward coming to the aloha festival every year. We mainly come for the food. We usually walk over from the arts center to avoid paying $10 parking.
When we arrived around at 11 there were huge crowds already. For us this year, the better food was on the mill bridge side. We got the kalbi and bbq chicken plate , kahlua pork and spam musubi. It was nice getting the food fresh off the grill. Walking to the festival by the lakeside food court you could smell the delicious bbq cooking and turkey legs selling for $13.
Our favorite drink was the Fresh strawberry lemonade from the orange stand and it was so hot we had to get a refill. The prices were reasonable for a festival.
They had hawaiian dancing and music and little vendors on the side selling hat's and hawaiian gear. For a weekend it was fun place to check out and celebrate hawaiian culture. Mahalo!
