| - My waxing bar recently moved up north so I switched over to Aroma. The service was okay until summer came around, which is when you need waxing the most. I've tried calling and booking online three times, none of these reservations were confirmed and my calls went unreturned.
Today I decided to walk in and ask for an appointment in person. You may think that the staff were somewhat apologetic about their unresponsiveness, but no. They were actually rude and confrontational. I told her that I've tried calling multiple times and she said "you should leave a message" I told her that I had left one but never received a call back, then she said "well, as you can see I can't answer the calls when I'm speaking to a client" and I said yes, but I've tried calling in the morning, and she notified me that they open at 10, which I know so I told her that I've actually tried calling just after 10, and then she says "we don't answer the phone when we're setting up"...Huh?! She then looks at me and said "I don't know what you want me to say...SORRY!"
So, essentially, they never answer the phone, because they're either setting up or with clients. I don't even know how this is possible when they have two receptionists. Anyway, I can't justify paying to be treated this way, so I'm now looking or a new waxing bar. Suggestions would be highly appreciated. Preferably somewhere close to Yonge and Bloor, and under $50 for a bikini.
